The winner of the name the island competition has been decided. Steven Harrower claims first place with ‘Springhaven Isle’. For this he will gain his own (and the only privately owned) magical item. Runner up (getting a healing potion) is Kieran Beecroft with the name ‘Douleia Isle’. Thank you to everyone who entered and better luck next time to those who didn’t place.

there will be a ‘name the island’ competition for your island. The prize is one of the very few starting magical items for the game. Please read over the background to get a feel for the place then either submit an entry either in the comments to this post or by email to me. As per usual, if you have any questions about things to do with the island please email me with them.

The competition closes on the 10th of August and the winner will be chosen by mesoon after. People who are not planning to take part in the LARP are welcome to enter too, as are monsters. They can then trade/sell/give the item to a player if they feel like it, or just hide it and laugh as the players are deprived of a magical item.
