Characters

Anyone who wants to post a quick ‘this is what people will know about me IC’ post please make a new post in this category. I’d prefer a more in depth description be sent to me along with a character sheet generally telling the truth about the character. What’s on here however will be how your character portrays themselves and what is common knowledge so feel free to lie all you like :) If you can’t post anything comment here and I’ll upgrade you to posting access. I’m doing it as soon as I notice people sign up but I may occasionally take a few days so be patient…

  1. Anna escaped with the rest of the others that fateful day last year, grateful that she would be free from the shackles of slavery. Once on the island, when no-one was willing to step forward to lead, she did. She was quickly rebuked for being too straightforward about her skills and 3 people were elected instead - none with the knowledge she possessed of military tactic, economy and trade. To this day she holds resentment towards those who were elected into power.

She is a strong woman, her bark can be as deadly as her bite. She doesn’t believe in “sitting around” or waiting for the problem to come to the people. She is loyal though, and does respect orders. She has protected the leaders with her life, receiving huge amounts of pain from the Shadow to stop him taking them away into the woods whilst they were unconscious.

If, however, issues do arise through inaction as given through orders or through a non-strategically sound plan; then she will chastise those who ordered it, making sure they are the ones taking responsibility for their incorrect decision. She certainly never shies away from anything caused by a decision made by her.

She hopes that, although brash, her words and emotions conveyed will mean those in charge will learn and rethink future actions. Unfortunately, so far, this has not been the case. Elders and children slain. Babes carried off into the woods. Bargaining lives of others. In some ways they have been extremely like the slavers they worked so hard to get away from.

No-one has spoken much to Anna, most likely because of her brash tones and militaristic points of view, and so her time before that fateful day still is known only unto her.
