Important Figures
.
B-Bea
B-bea is short, often grubby and wears purple face paint while out and about. She is gruff, and her manner viciously practical. A healer by nature, but one who has mended so many bones and bodies to only find that people will return with different ailments at a later date. Her accent is odd, and not of the island, but when asked of her past, she becomes prickly, and sour.
She believes in the way of the warrior, although those who have seen her with a weapon may grow perplexed at her lack of talent with blade or pole. She carries a small dagger, and a pouch full of healing supplies.
She is found these days, in a make-shift hut by the docks, offering healing and ‘warrior blessings’ to both the villagers, and those come come from the sea. The hut is waterproof, mostly, but on occasion, when her abilities as a healer are needed, is empty as she journeys to those who cannot come to her. She stays well clear of the forest, but watches it often.
She is a member of the triumvirate council, and takes the role seriously, meeting with her fellows regularly to discuss matters of importance.
.
Lord Falconer
The pirate lord who used to rule the island with an iron fist. Also the owner of the ship that the first revolt happened on. Not much is known of him as a preson but his ships regularly take part in raiding, looting and slaving and (according to Lord Rippingale) are considered extreme and unprincipled even by the other pirate lords. He was defeated when he tried to invade the island during the first few weeks of indipendence but escaped while his army crumbled. Rippingale says that following that defeat Falconers fleet has disappeared completely from it’s old haunts. He has promised that he will inform the Triumvirate if he ever hears news of Falconer returning to these waters.
.
Lord Rippingale
An unlikely ally of Springhaven Isle, Lord Rippingale offered to help drive Falconers troops from the island in return for permission to set up a port to trade from. He has since admitted that his main reason for this was purely to see Falconer humbled but he wasn’t sure if his help would be accepted if he didn’t appear to be getting something material out of it. While he doesn’t deny that he is a pirate and makes a living from raiding ships, his victims are always given the chance to surrender and be put ashore at the next port and he doesn’t deal in slaves at all. He has also provided a small ammount of lumber and other hard to aquire goods as a gesture of goodwill towards future trading.

Others will be added as people send me their backgrounds. Note that these are the backgrounds as your characters would give them out. Feel free to make them vague, incomplete or just downright untrue as long as you pass your accurate background to me at some point and make sure I know which is which.
